Summer Streets, the annual NYC program that lets pedestrians and cyclists takeover major city streets is ON! and it is awesome!

This year, it will be even better - a 270-foot water slide will join the lineup, according to the New York Post. 

Nearly seven miles of city streets from Central Park to the Brooklyn Bridge (mostly via Park Avenue and Lafayette Street) will be free of cars for three Saturdays in August. 

In past years events included free snacks, a rock wall, and a zip line. This year, you'll be able to get wet and wild at Foley Square, courtesy of Slide the City and sponsor Vita Coco.
